We have many different pieces of Hmong embroideries, and each has it own uniqueness. Hmong women have been known globally for their needle-art skills in doing cross stitch and reverse applique. Since the early 1980s, Hmong refugees in Thailand began making what has been known as story cloth which depicts their daily life and the war. The most popular piece of the story cloth is the "crossing the Mekong."
